Love Day at the Rose Bowl
Love Day at the Rose Bowl was a tremendous success!
Despite the hot and humid weather, hundreds of children enjoyed a fun-filled day of indoor games and activities at the Rose Bowl.
A special thank-you to One Hope Outreach for sponsoring two hours of fun and fellowship for children from low-income families.
Your commitment to serving our community is truly making a positive difference.
We also extend our appreciation to the many organizations that participated by providing games, activities, resources, and valuable information, including Team Suicide Prevention (TSP), Grand Mental Health, Early Learning Works, American Dream Center, Counseling & Recovery Services, CREOKS Health Services, and many others.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to my fellow TSP teammates-Donna Ryter, Molly VanAuken, Keith VanAuken, Michelle Metcalf, and everyone who volunteered their time to help make this event a success. Your dedication and compassion are greatly appreciated.
During the event, Michelle Metcalf stood beside a memorial display featuring the photographs of 12 young individuals whose lives were lost to suicide. It served as a powerful reminder of why our mission is so important.
Michelle, along with Team Suicide Prevention, also provides Hope & Healing Boxes to families who have lost a loved one to suicide.
These thoughtfully prepared gift boxes offer comfort, support, and resources during an incredibly difficult time. Your generous contributions help make it possible for us to continue providing these meaningful gifts to grieving families.
This is just one example of how Team Suicide Prevention gives back to our community. Together, we strive to bring hope, healing, education, and support while making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and supported this wonderful event. Together, we are making our community stronger—one act of kindness at a time.
