Hope and Healing Boxes

Hope and Healing Boxes are provided at the request of family and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide. These boxes are filled with items that comfort the soul, community resources, and handwritten letters from individuals who have experienced a similar loss. At Team Suicide Prevention, we understand that suicide is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, leaving an indelible mark on families, friends, and entire communities.

Our mission is to break the silence surrounding this critical issue, offering vital resources, coordinating cycling events, and fostering a supportive network for those at risk. We aim to raise awareness for suicide prevention and honor the dedicated individuals on the front lines of this battle, spreading hope.

Among our most meaningful initiatives is the creation of the Hope and Healing Program. This program designs boxes for families grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide and for individuals who are navigating their way through a personal suicidal crisis. Each box is a thoughtful collection of items aimed at providing comfort to a healing soul, offering resources for a grieving spirit, and includes handwritten letters and phone numbers to other individuals who have recently walked through their own crisis.
